The Westgate Family Dental is excited to announce the association of Dr. Rebecca Rightmer.
Dr. Rightmer received her undergraduate degree in Bioengineering from Rice University where she was a proud member of the MOB (Marching Owl Band).
She received her D.M.D. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and completed her Advanced Dental Residency at Allegheny General Hospital. She received awards as American General Dentistry Senior Student Award and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Rightmer is a passionately committed dentist who enjoys volunteering in several nonprofit dental organizations, and recently spent a week in Honduras with other dental professions providing extensive dental care and preventative oral hygiene and education to children and families.
Dr. Rightmer is exceptionally qualified in all areas of general dentistry and is eager to meet you and your family. She also has an interest in pediatric dentistry and has worked with a nationally recognized pediatric specialist to broaden her skills. Dr. Rightmer grew up in Taiwan and speaks fluent Mandarin.
After her residency, Dr. Rightmer and her husband Ryan decided to move back to Texas to be closer to family and begin their professional lives.
In her leisure times you might find her walking her dog on the hike and bike trail, enjoying live music, or maybe even kayaking on the Lady Bird Lake. Mostly these days Dr. Rightmer says she is just really excited to be working with Dr. Yarbrough and his talented team – to provide the very best care to the patients at Westgate Family Dental.
